Computer help where you use it
Home IT Pros provides onsite computer repairs and IT support across the Adelaide metropolitan area, by appointment. Working in your home makes it possible to check the computer alongside your internet connection, printer and other devices.
You deal directly with Cameron from the first enquiry. The aim is to identify the problem, explain the practical options and test the result with you. Remote assistance is also available Australia-wide when a visit is unnecessary.
Common computer problems we can help with
- Slow or unstable computers: investigate performance issues, software faults and troublesome settings.
- New computer setup: configure software, email and connected devices, and help with data migration.
- Hardware and upgrades: diagnose issues and discuss suitable configuration or upgrade options.
- Printers and scanners: help with setup, wireless printing and connection problems.
- Security concerns: check suspicious software, account access and common signs of compromise.
Repair, upgrade or replace?
The right answer depends on the device, the fault and what you need it to do. An older machine may benefit from an upgrade, while a different fault may make replacement more sensible. Describe the symptoms and the device model so the likely scope and next step can be discussed.
Before making changes: mention any important files and whether you have a recent backup. If a device is failing or data appears to be missing, avoid repeatedly reinstalling software or resetting it before asking for advice.
What to include in your enquiry
- Your Adelaide suburb and whether an onsite visit would suit you.
- The computer model, what is happening and any exact error message.
- When it started, what changed beforehand and whether other devices are affected.
Keep passwords, one-time codes and private account details out of the form. Have the device and charger available for an appointment.
