Website privacy

This notice explains the information involved when you browse this website or send a support enquiry. It applies to the Home IT Pros website.

Updated: 22 October 2026

Support enquiries

The support form asks for your name, email address, optional phone number, preferred contact method, support category and a description of the issue. These details are emailed to Home IT Pros so Cameron can respond to your request. The form asks for your agreement to that use.

Please do not include passwords, one-time security codes, banking credentials, identity documents, wallet seed phrases or private keys. You can also contact admin@homeitpros.com.au or call 0425 121 092 instead of using the form.

Spam protection and security

The form uses a self-hosted OpenPorte/ALTCHA verification check, a hidden anti-spam field and submission timing checks. The verification challenge is served by this website. The form also uses an IP-based identifier to limit repeated submissions.

The hosting service and Wordfence security software process technical request information, which can include IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information and security events. Wordfence connects to its security services. These systems help operate and protect the website.

Website analytics and cookies

This website uses Google Analytics through Google Site Kit to understand visits, traffic sources and page use. Google services can use cookies and process technical and usage information. Search Console provides search-performance information, such as search terms, impressions and clicks.

We also measure successful support-form enquiries and clicks on our phone and email links. These events use fixed labels; we do not send your name, email address, phone number or message as event details to Google Analytics. A temporary first-party cookie, hip_enquiry_receipt, contains a random acknowledgement rather than your form details. It expires after two minutes and is cleared on return to the site, helping distinguish a mail-accepted enquiry from a failed submission or a refreshed page. A successful form event records acceptance by the website mail system, not a confirmed booking or guaranteed email delivery.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies or scripts may affect some website functions. See Google’s explanation of information from sites using its services and Wordfence’s privacy policy for information about those providers.

Email records and backups

Enquiries may remain in email records and in backups maintained for recovery. Hosting, email, analytics and security providers are involved in operating the website and handling enquiries. Contact Home IT Pros to ask about information relating to your enquiry, including correction, deletion or retention questions.

Questions about your information

Email admin@homeitpros.com.au with a description of your question and enough information to identify the relevant enquiry. Do not include sensitive account credentials. Arrangements for any remote or onsite support should be discussed separately when the work is booked.
